Privacy Policy

ZAGO.TO (the "Service") is an ephemeral text transfer service with no sign-up. This page explains what information the Service handles and for how long.

1. What we do not collect

• No accounts, names, email addresses or phone numbers. There is no sign-up or login.
• No tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your language choice (Korean/English).

2. Text you send

• Text is kept on the server for at most two minutes: it is deleted if not opened within one minute, and one minute after it is opened. The sender can delete it at any time.
• Deleted text cannot be recovered and is not backed up.
• If you turn on Lock, the PIN itself is never stored, only a hash, and it is deleted together with the text.
• The Service does not read or analyse the content of text. Text still on the server may be disclosed where required by a lawful request.

3. What is recorded automatically

• To prevent abuse, the requesting IP address is used for request counting for 10 minutes and then discarded. Text and IP addresses are never stored together.
• Aggregate, cookie-free visit statistics (such as page views, measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics) and aggregate ad click counts (which ad slot was clicked, as a number) may be collected. None of this identifies a person.

4. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising. Ad networks (for example Google AdSense and Kakao AdFit) may use their own cookies or identifiers under their own privacy policies. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites; you can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Where affiliate links are used, the Service may earn a commission on purchases, and this is disclosed next to the link.

5. Processing and international transfer

The Service runs on infrastructure operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Text and request data may be processed in Cloudflare data centres worldwide.

6. Your rights

Text still on the server can be deleted with "Delete now" on the sender screen. For anything else, contact hello@zago.to.

7. Changes

Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.
