Frequently asked questions
When is my text deleted?
Once opened, it's deleted from the server the moment the 1-minute countdown ends. Deleted texts can't be recovered.
What's the difference between key and password?
The key is the number that finds your text; the password verifies permission to open it. Both are 3-digit numbers, and both must match for the text to open.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. Just a browser — no signup, login, app, or extension needed.
How is security handled?
All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and the raw text is permanently deleted from the server the moment the 1-minute countdown ends after being opened — it's never stored long-term. The text only opens when both key and password match.
What if two people use the same key?
Sending is rejected if the same key and password combination is already in use — just pick different numbers and try again. The same key works fine with a different password, and once a text is deleted, its combination can be reused.
